Welcome to the 1st International Symposium on Single-Cell Mass Spectrometry (iSCMS)!
We aim to bring together researchers interested in all aspects of single-cell, near-single-cell, and spatial mass spectrometry, including applications scientists and technology developers for all applicable ‘omes.
This year’s meeting will be held on the campus of Brigham Young University in Provo, UT from October 4-7.
We will hold a conventional symposium on October 4, 5 and the morning of the 6th, featuring invited and submitted oral presentations, posters and vendor exhibits. All are welcome!
After that, we will hold a ‘hands on’ workshop with a smaller group (limited to 25 people) and will provide an opportunity to get up close and personal with various platforms for single-cell proteomics. We will have demos for sample preparation, separations, MS data acquisition and bioinformatics, including instruments and reagents from Thermo Fisher, Bruker, Cellenion, HP, etc. We hope this will lower the barrier of entry for new researchers in this space.
If you are interested in the hands-on portion of the meeting, please indicate this when you register, including specific areas you would like us to focus on.
